Odd

Odd is something that deviates from what is normal, or usual. If one has a common name, it's not odd to meet someone with the same one. Meeting someone through a sequence of accidental events that seem planned, is called coincidence. "We were destined to meet", or "it was fate", would be said of those encounters. "Turn a different corner and we might never have met". But if it were predestined or fate, won't the two have met up anyway, along some road of life's highway?

There's whole websites devoted to the oddities, and coincidences surrounding the WTC attacks. One is "the mysterious numerical connection". Never much thought about my "9/11" connection. From a family of 11 (9 children). Add one more stillborn, and another soon after birth death, that would have been 11 children and a family of 13.

* Date of the attack: 9/11 = 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
* Trade Towers resembled ‘Eleven’.
* The World Trade Center was sold 11 weeks before the attack.
* 110 (11) floors two each trade tower
* AA (American Airlines) is numerically 11
* American Airlines Flight 11, carrying 81 passengers and 11
* September 11th is the 254th day of the year: 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
* After September 11th there are 111 days left to the end of the year.
* Twin Towers - standing side by side, looks like the number 11.
* The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11.
* State of New York - The 11th State added to the Union.
* New York was the 11th state to endorse the Constitution.
* New York City - 11 Letters.
* The Pentagon - 11 Letters
* Afghanistan - 11 Letters.
* Flight 11 - 81 on board - 8 + 1 = 9
* Flight 175 - 65 on board - 6 + 5 = 11
* Flight 93 - 63 on board - 6 + 3 = 9

Following the logic above, I was born at 5:22 am, 5+2+2=9. Was born on the 252nd day of the year, which adds up to 9. There were only 113 days left in the year, but that only ads up to 5. Oops, need to check to see if I were born during a leap year, eh?

It does seem that the events leading up to the WTC attack where preplanned, like a dinner party, complete from soup to nuts. Rumsfield, Cheney, Bush, Hinckley. Odd.
