The Bad News Is...

...59% of the people divided their votes between Clinton & Edwards. I doubt if either of the two would jump ship possibly given an edge to the other. Governor Richardson would do us a favor by bowing out of the contest and urging his supporters to vote Obama. I considered Richardson but he did not vote to declare English the National Language, which most other candidates did. Too much trouble going on between the La Razas and Minute Men for my taste. The La Raza plan to gain control of 5 states and cede them from the nation through populating with border trespassers does not bode well with born US citizens and immigrants from non-Hispanic speaking countries.

Obama has the right attitude: This is not a Latino/America, a White/America, an Asian/America, an African/America and so on, but a UNITED States of America. We can not fix the past, only act in the present and hope to make a better future for those who follow us. Like it or not, the US of A is an English speaking country. My immigrant father taught me "When in Rome, do as the Roman's do" and if one wants to be a citizen of the US, please speak the unifying language.

Our president must represent all the citizens, not just those from New Mexico. Obama has suffered from bigotry and racist attitudes. Richardson's supporters can be assured that Obama will treat them with dignity and respect due persons of all ethnic backgrounds. Obama is a uniter, not a divider and his campaign workers need all the help they can get to swing some of those Edwards/Clinton supporters Obama's way.

A diverse man for a diverse population, I feel in my heart that is what we, the people, need at our highest level of government to begin to end hatred caused by racist and bigoted attitudes.
