Unpopular Supreme Court

According to polls the United States Supreme Court is unpopular.

"The aforementioned Quinnipiac poll showed that a mere 34% of voters believed the court is mainly motivated by the law. Most (62%) felt that the Supreme Court is mainly motivated by politics. Four years ago, the split was far more even, with 50% believing the court was mainly motivated by politics and 42% saying it was mainly motivated by the law."

I lost faith in the Supreme Court when Justice Sandra Day O'Connor sided with the grand poobah or the KKK regarding cross burnings. She reasoned that burning crosses was their tradition ~ "
a statement of ideology” or “group solidarity.” She admitted that some cross burnings could be meant to intimidate, but the cross burning on a Virginia couple's lawn could have been done out of anger.

Gee, whiz, that couple was so frightened they moved. That Supreme Court decision overturned a 50-year ban on cross burnings in Virginia. 3 Justices agreed with O'Connor mainly because "they
viewed the law as content discrimination directed at the Klan."

Allowing cross burnings discriminates against those being threatened by the Klan.

There is no justice coming from the Supreme Court. Just pandering to their political party of choice. Too bad citizens can not judge them in the voting booth.
