What does that have to do with Roe v Wade or politics in general? Stress.  High cortisol levels contribute to belly fat. High cortisol levels are related to too much stress. According to Deepak and others, when people are stressed they eat more.

I am not stressed. Unless it is the post traumatic disorder kind. I am basically calm. Insomnia, vivid, wild, crazy dreams that you remember are also symptoms of stress. Aha. In a word trump. Irritability and anger are signs of stress. I can think I am living a calm, stress-free life, when actually I get irritable and angry reading comments by trumpets. 

Are they willfully ignorant or blind? He should be irrelevant and shunned due to his misbehavior, especially on Jan. 6th when he led his pets to storm the Capitol to "stop the steal." Why do elected Republicans still support the man?

Its a conspiracy I tell you, as my son used to say. 

He is still holding rallies spewing his lies to the faithful. It scares me. It saddens me. It makes me angry. Um, stress, I see. 

Biden vs Trump

 In previous post it was noted that Democrats and Republicans agree that the U.S. democracy is in danger of collapse ~ according to poll ~ 69% of each group. Republicans blame Biden; Democrats blame Trump.

Loyalty to party rather than loyalty to country, and Republicans call themselves patriots? 

Will President Biden claim he won the election if he loses it? Will he hold a rally on January 6th, tweeting "be there, it will be wild" and telling his supporters to "Stop The Steal" by marching to the Capitol building? No, no, and no. 

Losing candidates have sometimes contested the election results; but none have held rallies on the day Electoral college votes were to be counted. None asked their VP to illegally change state votes in his favor. None, except Trump have called governors asking them to find votes. Crooked through and through. 

Yet Republicans are so blind they can not see that the wannabe President for Life is the enemy of democracy?

I read comments. 😎 Trump fans insist Jan. 6th was a riot, not an instructionss. An insurrectionn is a violent uprisingg against government. They claim that in no way was the sitting president responsiblee for the breaking,enteringg of the Capitoll Building.He told them he was going to march with them to the Capitol to "stop the steal." What were they going to do when they got there? Stand outside chanting: Stop the Steal; give trump the win?

Too bad common sense is not. How did trump think his fans were going to stop Congress from doing their job? How do those 69% of Republicans polled think it was okay for the protestors to break into a government building in an attempt to "stop the steal." If the woman had not been illegally in the Capitol building climbing through a broken glass window, she would not have gotten shot. 

Why was she there? Because her man trump told her to be there to stop the steal.

In a way I am sad that it is highly unlikely I will live to see the U.S. of A democracy  collapse because of an outspoken Birther, corrupt con man. He supports White Nationalists to the extent that he refused to host President Obama at a White House  unveiling of Obama's portrait. 

This is what will destroy the United States of America ~ white Republicans hatred of black, brown citizens. They are also  misogynist, so that if enough white women get disgusted with them, we still have a chance to remain a nation.

I would love to ask Brian where he got his statistics. My searches were futile. The best I could find said 27.4% of U.S. births out of a 100,000 result in death. I am not a mathematician; maybe Brian is. Maybe he figured out how many females in the United States get pregnant each year, and found the percentage that way?

The reason, #Peter Clemenza, people oppose the death penalty is that innocent people have already been put to death for crimes they did not commit. I do not label myself other than Independent voter, I choose candidates, not parties. Although I will probably never vote for a Republican again, even for City Council or other local election.

A person proven guilty of raping, killing a child, for instance; yeah, let the parents do as they want to them. I would not want to see them coddled; lock them up with other serial killers, rapists, heinous criminals, no cells to keep them safe from each other. No TVs, radios, mail, canteen. Just the basics. That they may suffer the same fate as they visited upon the children. 

Death does not punish them, it might save tax dollars in the long run, and prevents them from repeating their crime. I personally could not do the killing ~ except in a state of rage, perhaps. Perhaps you would be willing to "pull the switch," administer the injection. My Democrat sister (may she RIP) would gladly have pulled the switch. As righteous religious Christian as she was, she favored the death penalty.

Why o why do these antis want to force a woman to carry to term a fetus with no skull. Hopefully this rare condition will abort itself prior to the restrictive 6 or 10 weeks ban on all abortions. If not, the poor lady might have to deliver a baby doomed to die within seconds of birth.

Not to mention, if it does abort after the alloted time, she might be denied a D & C. Unless a physician can prove, by not performing the needed D & C she could get an infection and die. 

As in the case of the arcania woman, would a doctor that performed the D & C need to go to court to prove it was needed to save the woman's life? Would medical staff deny a female a D & C for fear of violating asnine laws, facing fines? 

The man that support overthrowing Roe v Wade and create restrictive abortion laws can never conceive a fetus with no skull (or other deformities). They should not be allowed to make laws regarding a woman's health care. Women who side with those men, truly need to stop listening to preachers and let their God do the judging of strangers. Where is their empathy and love of neighbors that their Jesus had?

 I stopped watching Television news many years ago. When I was living in California, I did not own a television, TV was long a last choice, nothing better to do. I would rather be outdoors, reading a book or working on one project or another. 

Also in CA I read a lot of online newspapers. That was when they were all free; only needed an account to leave comments, which I did often. I checked out AOL news headlines. I do not recall how I ended up with Google Chrome. So now I check out Google headlines. I have used other search engines, but Google is just the fastest. 

The Central Park 5 ~ the former guy took out a full page ad in 4 New York newspapers demanding New York bring back the death penalty. Did I learn that via a Google search or Yahoo news article? Truly do not know where I first read about it. It definitely did not come from Yahoo news, because I never went there back before he got elected. 

I never forgot the Central Park 5 because my daughter almost got killed in a car accident. I was visiting her in the hospital thinking about the jogger in an NYC hospital. I might have still been reading the New York Daily News Sunday papers back then. I might have seen the ad. After the real rapist caused the boys (now young men) to be released from prison, T felt they should still be locked up. One boy confessed, he said, they should be in jail.

At the time when I read that the boy recounted his confession, I assumed rightly, it had been coerced out of him.If T had gotten his way, those boys would have been executed for a crime they did not commit. That is why I am against the death penalty ~ if even one innocent person is executed it is one too many.

There is also the case where cops busted into a sleeping man's apartment. He heard the crash close to where his baby was sleeping and shot in the direction of intruders. The cops raided the wrong apartment. But the guy was convicted of murdering a cop and was executed many years later. How is that justice? He was simply standing his ground. Jerks like Zimmerman can cry self-defense, but a sleeping man can not? 

Anyway, Chris & the lady in my prior post, often accuse people who use facts not insults to make a point, of following Fake News. They are, of course, the ones who follow Fake News; they never fact check, simply fall for any BS their idols spew. Sad world.

 Read an article about Truth Social not paying their bills. What else is new for a #45 founded project? 

Surprisingly the comments were anti-Don-the-Con. They pointed out that his grifting was well-known prior to his running for presidency. Like me, many who commented wondered why any citizen would vote for a corrupt, lying, business person. 

I did not copy the comments. A guy (or could be a female) named Chris got offended. Someone wondered how anyone could not know about T's long history of cheating contractors. Chris replied something like  "how could you know that ~ by reading Yahoo news articles, and fake news? 

I can not sign in at an article comments to add my own. I need to sign in, then go back to article, and hope to find the comment I wanted to reply to. Decided not to try; people like Chris are not interested in known facts. He probably gets his news from Truth Social or QAnon or the former guy's repeated lies, via Twitter or at his rallies. 

Many already told Chris the same as I wanted to say. I do not get news from Yahoo news. I recently started checking out headlines, maybe skimming an article, but mostly am there for the comments. Roe v Wade overturned by Supreme Court is factual news reported many places, not just at Yahoo. Are all those sources peddling Fake News?

The other day a I did sign in to Yahoo to ask a woman a question. I wanted to know where she got her info. She told me to do my own research; truth is out there if you look, and Stop doing Google searches. Huh? I no longer recall what she said ~ it sounded like Fake News to me. If her comment had any basis in fact, she could have given me the source. Instead she insults me. She also sounded off about using Yahoo as a source for news.

What is silly is Marjorie Taylor Green thinking wind turbines and solar panels will cause lights to go out after sunset. Maybe she is so wealthy she has new technology that allows her house lights to turn on automatically at sunset and go off at sunrise? 

Personally I loved hanging clothes outdoors on a line. Saved on utility bills, but sheets smelled so lovely and fresh. Miss living in homes with backyards. Why oh why do such stupid people get elected! That is insane.

Again: fertilized egg, cell divides, is a zygote, grows into a blastocyst, into embryo stage, into fetus stage, at term the fetus exits the womb, and a baby is born. Some fetus' die in the womb. If a woman has a dead fetus in her womb, I believe it is her choice to have it removed.
It is also a woman's choice to have a much needed D & C after that zygote, blastocyst, embryo, fetus aborts itself. No physician or woman needs to be accused of causing an abortion. 

These elected representatives are not representing citizens, just pushing their own uneducated opinions on us.

This is why government officials should not be making laws regarding women's health care. Doctors are considering moving their practices to Blue states to avoid unwittingly getting arrested for say, perhaps, providing a D & C after spontaneous miscarriage, that happened after restrictive states deadline for doctor assistance.

Those government officials need to pass a course on non-viable pregnancies, and female anatomy. I recently read about twins born with two heads, but only one body. Their parents did not abort the abnormal pregnancy, refused operation to separate them as one of the two would die.

Not my business, but it would disturb me to see a two-headed woman, and feel for the poor children who has her (them?) for teachers.

The supreme court ruling returned the abortion consideration back to the "states" not the cities. These codes will set up an in-state conflict the will wander through the courts and ultimately end up back at the supreme court where they will be struck down...again. You can't keep changing the rules until you get the outcome you want. Work the problem. Most unwanted pregnancies are the result of reckless behaviour not fringe exceptions. Work the problem, fix the behaviour and quit making tax payers cover the costs of bad actions.

Mr. Snyder does not know about couples desiring children, but instead got ectopic pregnancy or the fetus died in the womb. I have discussed this previously. Rapes are not a fringe exception. Some state laws, will outlaw needed D & C's after a spontaneous miscarriage, if, say, the ectopic pregnancy happen after 6 weeks.

Yeah, a reckless 16-year-old boy that pestered his girl friend into proving her love by having sex with him should have used a condom. Make sure no college student rapes classmates. Stop married men from asking other women to have sex with them. The problem is men like you, Jeffrey J Snyder who do not know enough about pregnancy, its causes, reasons a woman might be forced to have a doctor assisted early termination of pregnancy. Bad enough females who should know better, have blinders on when it comes to strangers' pregnancies. Men who never gave birth to a stillborn baby are so clueless. 

Blastocyst

 I miss mentioning the blastocyst stage of pregnancy when I rant about a female's right to liberty ~ freedom of choice ~ liberty guaranteed to citizens via 14th Amendment. Some one needs to start a class action lawsuit against the Supreme Court Justices who voted to overthrow Roe v Wade.

Most woman who miscarry do so in the first trimester of pregnancy. That blastocyst or newly developing embryo has something wrong with it or where it was attached as it slid down the fallopian tube. That blastocyst is considered a human life to be protected ~ personhood. What if that defective or implanted fertilized egg does not spontaneously abort itself? 

Why ever should a female or attending physician need to prove in a court of law that it was not a medically assisted early termination? What a waste of time for overcrowded courts. Why must doctors be leary of treating, helping a pregnant women for fear of arrest? 

How I wish all those antis would take off their blinders and realize that there are multiple reasons Roe v Wade was necessary law.  Sure some females abused the law, but I only know of one that choose to abort due to her husband not wanting another girl. 

I personally know of two ectopic pregnancies, one still born; several teenagers, one for sure, raped that choose to abort.  The teens went on to later marry, have children, who now make them grandmothers.  I no longer recall how many I personally know who had miscarriages. Many.

A Zygote is not a body

If a woman has a miscarriage after 6 weeks in some states, she will not be allowed to have a D & C, Ms. Moore. If that fetal material is not scraped and removed from a womb, Ms. Melissa Moore, the woman may never be able to conceive again. Or she could die from infection, Ms. Moore.

That fetal stuff that remained in the womb Is Not A Body, Ms. Moore.  Even an embryo is not really a body. It takes time for the heart and lungs to fully develop. Sometimes they never do, leaving a malformed fetus in the woman's body. How dare you, Ms. Moore, think you (and others) have the right to dictate to females when you are clueless as to what her pregnancy issues may be.

Dangerous elected officials

 Okay, so the North Carolina bill did not pass, but its author, Rep. Pittman, and co-sponsor, Rep. Brody are dangerous elected officials. How does anyone know the exact moment of fertilization? Some woman claim to have known the exact moment; I believe I know when I became pregnant with my son, but not due to any physical sensations. 

These reps believe that a raped woman who takes that morning after pill, should be either put to death for murder, or sent to prison for life. WTF How can one murder something that is invisible? Pro-life? Let us now kill females because they believe a zygote is a person? 

Why do women elect such miscognist men to make laws that delegate females to non-person status, with no rights?

Reps like Pittman are why the Federal government needs to enforce citizens rights to liberty. Overturning Roe v Wade gives dangerous elected officials the right to violate females' right to choice (liberty=freedom of choice)

14th Amendment guarantees liberty for citizens. A zygote, embryo, fetus is not a citizen, until after it is born. 

9th Amendment prohibits cruel & unusual punishment. It is cruel to punish a child or any raped woman to have an unwanted baby. It is unusual for a rapist to be punished with castration. Yet the antis approve of cruel & unusual treatment of females for having the audacity to allow a fetus to die in her womb. 

Law makers are not gynecologists. Men have never gone through childbirth ~ often excruciating painful. Why are they allowed to make laws regarding a personal choice?
